Rabbis Unite in Endorsing David Hirsch for Assembly

Prominent religious leaders are rallying behind Republican

candidate David Hirsch in the special election for the 27th Assembly district. A collective endorsement, signed by respected Rabbis underscores Hirsch's alignment with community interests.

"We officially endorse and support Dovid Hirsch as the best choice to represent our community in Albany," reads the endorsement. It urges all district voters to cast their ballots for Hirsch in the upcoming election. (See endorsement letter on page 17)

Rabbi Yoel Schonfeld, Rabbi Emeritus of Young Israel of KGH, now residing in Baltimore, emphasizes the broader implications of this election. "What happens in New York is felt around the country," he says. Highlighting the detrimental impact of Democratic policies on religion, society, and crime, he urges support for Republican candidates to challenge the Democratic stronghold. He concludes his statement saying, "We must send a message: Enough is enough."

Hirsch's endorsements also span party lines. Former Congressman Lee Zeldin, Councilwomen Inna Vernikov and Vickie Paladino, Assemblyman Ari Brown, and even Democrat Councilman Bob Holden all stand in support of his candidacy.

As September 12th approaches, Hirsch's candidacy unites voices from different quarters in the belief that a change in leadership is essential for the 27th Assembly district.
