The Bukharian community is Baruch HaShem growing and there is so much going on.

Just last week on Tisha B’Av, Beth Gavriel had thousands upon thousands of people walk in and out during the Tisha B’Av Marathon by Chazaq. The marathon started on Motzei Shabbat with Charlie Harary, then continued in the morning with over a dozen speakers including R’Israel Itshakov, R’ Ilan Meirov, R’ Yitzchak Oelbaum, Chief Bukharian Rabbi HaRav Yitzchak Yisraeli and plenty others. It was so great to see so many from the community make the effort to Beth Gavriel and listen to the prominent speakers. For more on this event, we recap on page 27.

The Beth Gavriel mikvah officially got their Charity campaign going on Monday with a goal of reaching $400,000. We as a community must help get them to the finish line! Visit charidy.com/mikvah for more info or call the Beth Gavriel Office.

Baruch HaShem, as the summer continues to roll through, there are so many smachot (happy occasions) happening around the community. We have a loaded Mazal Tov section this week (pages 24-25) but we know there is so much more happening.
