SINAI Schools will hold its annual Unique Inspirations Student Art Shows featuring artwork by students at SINAI at YCQ, on Wednesday, May 13, at YCQ in Kew Gardens Hills.
The students created this artwork through SINAI’s Paley-Mironov Art Therapy Program. Art therapy is an amazing tool to help children understand, express, and cope with the challenges they encounter. With the encouragement and guidance of SINAI’s art therapists, the children of SINAI Schools have used a variety of materials to produce the inspiring artwork that will be displayed at the shows. Each piece is a unique expression of using art to empower, to communicate, and to visualize.
These family-friendly events are generously sponsored by Bear Givers through their EmpowerART Program, which enables children with disabilities or in hospitals to experience joy and pride in creating art, seeing it showcased and sold at their own art exhibition, and making a meaningful contribution since all art sale proceeds are donated to their school, hospital or organization.
Hors d’oeuvres and kid-friendly foods will be served.
