Colorful artwork, busy hands, and proud smiles marked the opening of Chazaq's Shaping Lives Sunday school program at more than 15 locations. The new term began with activities inspired by Parshat Bereshit and Parshat Noach, bringing the weekly Torah portions to life through hands-on projects.

The first week's activities focused on Creation, with children decorating pictures of the Earth, the heavens, and the wonders of Hashem's world. The following Sunday, Parshat Noach introduced projects featuring the teivah, animals, and rainbows. Tables filled with markers and craft supplies kept youngsters busy as they worked alongside friends and proudly displayed their creations.

The excitement extended beyond the projects. Children enjoyed pizza and the opportunity to win prizes, including an oversized stuffed turtle that brought delighted smiles from its young recipients.

The combination of Torah instruction, creative activities, and shared experiences gives children an enjoyable introduction to the weekly parashah while helping them build friendships and a lasting connection to Jewish learning.
