YSZ Girls High School welcomed parents this past Tuesday evening for its Open School Night, offering an opportunity to connect with faculty and gain a closer look at the learning taking place throughout the school.
The evening began with a Learning Fair, where parents explored course materials, met teachers, and learned more about what their daughters are studying this year.
Dr. Tina Zerykier, menahelet, spoke about the importance of the partnership between home and school and their shared commitment to each student’s growth. Rabbi Meirov of Chazaq followed with words of inspiration.
Mrs. Ruchama Turk, Director of Student Learning, provided information about school systems, student citizenship, and the academic and personal support available to students. The evening concluded with a special orientation for ninth-grade parents.
The program gave parents a fuller picture of their daughters’ school experience while strengthening the connection between families and faculty.
