Ezra Academy students continue to demonstrate enthusiasm and pride through active participation in a wide range of extracurricular programs. This week, several teams celebrated notable successes, reflecting the vibrant culture of involvement across the school.
The Ezra Knights chess team secured multiple victories in a competitive match against North Shore, showcasing disciplined strategy and focus. On the court, the Ezra Eagles basketball team earned its first win of the season after an impressive 14-point fourth-quarter comeback, led by David Avulov and Daniel Boruchov. Ezra’s mock trial team also opened its season with a Round One victory.
Beyond competition, students have shown strong support for their peers, creating an energetic and unified school atmosphere at games and events.
Looking ahead, the Ezra Eagles will open their soccer season, while the girls dance team prepares to compete at Yeshiva of Flatbush. Ezra’s extracurricular programs continue to foster leadership, teamwork, and school spirit.
