Second grade students at The Cheder Moshe Raya Me’hemna welcomed the month of Adar with visible simcha. The classroom reflected the message of “Mishenichnas Adar marbim b’simcha,” as students embraced the spirit of the season.
In reading, they learned about prefixes and how they change word meaning. In math, they continued strengthening regrouping skills in addition and subtraction.
As part of their Purim preparation, students reviewed the Purim story and discussed a meaningful Torah lesson — why even the broken Luchot were kept in the Aron, highlighting the enduring value of Torah.
