Hatzolah of Queens and Great Neck relocated their Forest Hills ambulance to the Beth Gavriel Center on 108th Street with the inauguration of a new bus for the Bukharian community that included the presence of Yehiel M. Kalish, CEO, Chevra Hatzalah Volunteer Ambulance Service Hatzolah. A formal induction ceremony was held on Sunday, June 12 along with a gorgeous donors’ banquet catered by Meal Mart on Main Street. The event was coordinated by Rabbi Yechiel M. Nakdimen, Director of Development for Hatzolah and MC’ed by Rabbi Yaniv Meirov, CEO of CHAZAQ and rav of Cong. Charms Circle. The dedication drew the attention of Bukharian rabbinical leaders Rabbi Yigal Haimoff, Rabbi Baal Lev, Rabbi Ilan Meirov, Rabbi Yaakov Nasirov, Rabbi Shlomo Nisanov, and Rabbi Emmanuel Shimonov amongst others. The event attracted the attention of State Senators Joseph P. Addabbo and Leroy Comrie as well as Assembly Member David Weprin, a frum legislator from Holliswood who has personally called on the lifesaving services of Hatzolah. The coordinators for Hatzolah were Shiu Reichmann, Bernie SHafran, and Michael Vatch. The spirit of the Bukharian community was as strong as ever for this monumental and historic afternoon.
