After the High Holiday season the Bukharian Jewish Congregation of Hillcrest celebrated its Simchat Torah party in unity.
Now that the days are shorter the Kids Program has returned to Saturday Night, featuring classes in Torah, Story Time, Pizza, and prizes for kids.
Our Friday night Torah class is one of the only such classes in the the whole community and the congregants cannot wait to begin after the class after daylight savings time.
On Sundays at 11am, the shul hosts Chazaq’s Jwave program for teens in public school. The kids were recently treated to a grand BBQ and a raffle for Bluetooth speakers.
Bukharian Jewish Congregation of Hillcrest is the only Bukharian Bet Knesset serving the greater Hillcrest and Jamaica Hills community.
