On Sunday October 14th, Main Street was full of energy as the community celebrated a beautiful Hachnassat Sefer Torah dedicated by the Fozailov family. Hundreds of men and women filled the streets dancing in joy on this auspicious occasion. It was a beautiful site to see as plenty of people stopped what they were doing to join in on the dancing.
After nearly an hour of marching everyone was treated to a lavish meal at the the Young Israel of Kew Garden Hills. The beautiful new Sefer Torah will be used at Chazaq’s Kollel and Beth Midrash located at Cong. Od Yosef Chai (141-56 73rd Avenue Flushing NY 11367) and was dedicated leilui nishmat Biti bat Serach and Pinchas ben Sarah.
