Kindergarten Alef Beis Siyum At YTM

Many months ago, the kindergarten boys at YTM started on a journey of learning the alef beis. They began with alef and each week added the next letter. The boys were immersed with many hands-on alef beis activities during the year, with constant review, which taught them to identify each letter by name and many times the sound of the letter also. Now in June, they have completed alef through suf, and that is a reason to celebrate with a grand siyum! The boys made beautiful crowns with a Torah on top because the learning of alef beis is the foundation and the first step needed to learn Torah. The boys also played a fun alef beis bingo game. They then got to go on a special alef beis van. In the van they saw many alef beis letters and each boy received a sticker with the alef beis letter his name begins with. We are so proud of each boy. Mazal tov on this amazing accomplishment!!
