Rabbonim, Singers & 500,000+ People for Shidduchim at TuBavTogether.com, plus what did Rav Chaim Kanievsky say about this year’s Tefillah?
This coming Sunday, July 25, is the day of tefillah for Tu B’Av. At 12:00 p.m. EST, join over 500,000+ Jews around the world uniting together in tefillah for shidduchim - “Tu B’Av Together”
One moment. 500,000 Jews across the globe. Together for shidduchim. That is Tu B’Av Together.
Tu B’Av has become synonymous with tefillah for shidduchim. Once again, this year, with the bracha and encouragement of Gedolei Yisrael, Yad L’Achim is hosting “Tu B’Av Together,” a global day of tefillah uniting Jews across the world.
We often ask ourselves, what can we do for friends and family members who are single? If we knew that a few minutes of our time would lead to our loved ones becoming engaged, we would surely take those moments….
This Sunday, July 25, is the day of tefillah for Tu B’Av. At noon New York Time, Yidden across the world, wherever they are, will stop whatever they are doing for a few moments and recite eight perakim of Tehillim together, in the zechus that all the singles in Klal Yisrael find their basherts. There will also be a live broadcast on TuBavTogether.com where Yidden from across the world can watch simultaneously.
Yad L’Achim recently went to visit Maran HaRav Chaim Kanievsky shlit”a, who instructed that the tefillah take place on Sunday and added his bracha that just like last year, when many singles got engaged after Tu B’Av Together, Rav Chaim said “so too this year!” [May those that participate in Tu B’Av Together merit finding their shidduch.]
At the same time that Klal Yisrael is davening on Tu B’Av, a minyan of talmidei chachamim, messengers of Yad L’Achim, will be davening in Amuka, the resting place of the holy Tanna Rav Yonasan Ben Uziel, for all those who submit their names to Yad L’Achim. There is no minimum donation required to submit the names of your single friends and family members to the talmidei chachamim.
All names submitted will also be given to HaRav Chaim Kanievsky shlit”a for a bracha. (Names can be submitted for free through the special website set up for this occasion,
JoinTuBav.org or call 1-646-568-1988.

ל»ב,ל»ח,ע›,פ»ב,קכ»א,קכ»ד,קכ»ז,קכ»ח (Psalms 32,38,70,82,121,124,127,128)
This year, there will be a live broadcast where people can watch as leading Gedolim and Rabbonim lead Klal Yisrael with the Tehillim for Tu B’Av Together and offer words of inspiration.

Join together with over 500,000 Jews from across the world at noon (New York time)! At that exact time, thousands of Yidden from around the world will unite in tefillah so that all our singles will find their zivugim hagunim b’karov.
Yad L’Achim has received many emails from men and women who are now engaged or married after participating in last year’s worldwide tefillah.
Yad L’Achim Director R’ Nesanel Gantz, who came up with the idea of Tu B’Av Together several years ago, commented on this year’s event. “The excitement is truly unprecedented this year. We have had over fifty leading Rabbanim and leaders create videos encouraging people to join Tu B’Av Together. People from across the US and dozens of other countries have reached out to tell us that they will be participating in this year’s tefillah. That’s why we created the live global broadcast on our website and phone hotline.”
“Let’s get together this Tu B’Av and make it Tu B’Av Together!”
Please tell your friends about this global day of tefillah and help spread the word about “TU B’AV TOGETHER!”
