“We can all sing B’yachad!” This month of Adar, Kittah Daled of YSZ Girls Division launched an achdut campaign! The girls sang and danced their way onto the stage with a wonderful performance! All their hard work paid off as the message rang clear to all of YSZ that no matter how different we are, we can all sing B’yachad! There is a special activity that all of the classes will be doing next week. Kittah daled is so excited to tell everyone! You can feel the achdut and simchah in the air. Chodesh Tov!

Chazak Chazak V’nitchazek! Such wonderful accomplishments in Kittah Daled! Fourth grade has completed learning Parshat Vayeshev. Mazal tov! The girls have been learning and growing beautifully, and they’ve truly deserved the siyum on Friday. The girls participated in a fun Smart Board game – so much fun! The girls got together in groups and decorated their cakes with a scene from the parshah. We then went around the room and every girl had a chance to share a lesson that had especially stuck with them – it was wonderful to see how much they remembered. Keep up the fantastic work!

The girls are also continuously working on improving their tefillah. Al Kein (the second paragraph of Aleinu) is our most recent addition in Tefillah. The girls have been learning the importance of the tefillah and of saying each word properly.

Achan ben___ ben ___ ben___ from shevet__”! Can you fill in the rest of the blanks? After the miraculous battle with Yericho, who would have thought that B’nei Yisrael would not conquer the small city of HaAi? Hashem was not only upset with what Achan did but at all of klal Yisrael. The fourth grade girls learned about how we are all responsible for one another – “Kol Yisrael areivim zeh la’zeh.” When we do a mitzvah, we bring a light into the world and we affect all Jews in a positive way; we see the opposite is true, as well. The girls are bringing so much light into the world!
