Children filled Ohr Natan with energy and excitement as Rego Park families gathered for a Kids Festival hosted by Ohr Natan in partnership with the Queens Jewish Community Council (QJCC).

The event featured bounce houses, carnival games, balloon artists, face painting, prizes, refreshments, and a live entertainment program that kept children engaged throughout the evening.

One of the most popular attractions was a large Sesame Street-themed inflatable, where children spent much of the evening climbing, sliding, and playing with friends. Balloon artists created colorful swords, flowers, animals, and other creations that could be seen throughout the hall.

A children’s entertainer led games and contests that drew enthusiastic participation from the crowd. Children eagerly raised their hands to answer questions, compete for prizes, and take part in the interactive program while parents and grandparents looked on.

Face painting was another favorite attraction, with youngsters proudly showing off colorful designs as they moved from one activity to the next. Cotton candy, snacks, and other treats helped add to the festive atmosphere.

Rabbi Nahum Kaziev, Rav of Ohr Natan, welcomed families and took part in the evening’s activities, distributing prizes and greeting children throughout the event.

Organizers thanked the volunteers, sponsors, and community partners whose efforts helped make the event possible, with special appreciation extended to Queens Shmira for its assistance and support during the event.

Following the success of this year’s festival, organizers expressed their hope to bring the event outdoors next year, allowing even more families to participate in what has become a popular community gathering for the families of Rego Park.
