The Teal Team, proudly sponsored by Levy Borukh Law, captured the championship title in the Ami Athletics Winter 2024/2025 season, demonstrating outstanding teamwork, determination, and athletic skill. Games throughout the season were hosted at the newly renovated basketball gym at the Queens Cheder yeshivah in Jamaica Estates on Croydon Road. This facility has become a key hub for Jewish community engagement and youth development, offering a space where values, sportsmanship, and camaraderie thrive.
The league welcomed a wide range of talented teams, including: Central P. Buyers Inc. NY, Dayan Law Firm, Intelli Rx Pharmacy, Invictus Pharmacy, Jay P. Enterprise Inc., Kaykov Media, Lifetime Funding, Liori Diamonds New York, Luxury Time NYC, RBdelaa Lighting, Richie Rich, Team Auto Body, and The Watch King NYC. Their spirited participation made for a competitive and exciting season.
Ami Athletics continues to play an important role in strengthening community ties through sports, offering a platform for young Jewish athletes to grow both on and off the court. The success of the Teal Team stands as a testament to the power of teamwork, mentorship, and a shared sense of purpose.
