On a recent Friday morning the bochurim of Yeshiva Tiferet Tzion High School Division of Sha'arei Zion Ohel Bracha enjoyed a beautiful Shabbat together with their rebbeim. The excitement was in the air as the bochurim arrived with their duffel and suit bags ready for a memorable experience. After Shacharit and breakfast, the bochurim packed mezonot bagels for a quick bite along the way.

After breakfast while awaiting the bus, a group of bochurim even found time to learn in the beit medrash. The hanhalah could not help but reward their efforts with an extra fun game of virtual reality, a danish and a drink.

The trip's first stop was at Dave & Busters for some arcades and games. Then, the boys continued to their rebbe's home where the bochurim were greeted with love and lots of food!

Preparations for Shabbat quickly began. As the sun set, the kedushah and beauty of Shabbat quickly took hold. The bochurim enjoyed a delicious Shabbat night meal, and a very special Oneg Shabbat at a local host where they sang, ate, and heard inspiring divrei Torah from a guest speaker. Special thanks is extended to Rabbi Rappaport for hosting the eleventh grade.

After t'filah on Shabbat morning, the bochurim were treated to a grand kiddush in shul filled with all types of delicacies. The Shabbat day meal followed at their rebbe's home.

After minchah, seudat shlishit, arvit, and havdalah, the bochurim returned to their hosts, packed, and prepared for a Motza'ei Shabbat activity. The ninth and tenth grades enjoyed rock climbing, Nerf battles, and a warrior course in High Exposure followed by a melaveh malkah.

The eleventh grade enjoyed time at a glow-in-the-dark trampoline park also followed by a melaveh malkah. However, before the activity, Rabbi Privalsky arranged a private visit with HaRav Yerucham Olshin shlit"a, Rosh HaYeshiva of BMG!

The twelfth graders worked as a team to try and escape a Rashi themed escape room followed by a melaveh malkah at Brooklyn's very popular sandwich spot Subsational.

The bochurim returned to Queens tired, happy, and inspired, baruch Hashem.

Kudos to the yeshivah parent body for providing your children with these life changing experiences. The very special, dedicated and beloved YTT rebbeim deserve recognition for their efforts over Shabbat and throughout the year. The hanhalas hayeshivah especially recognizes the valiant efforts of their wives and children who spared no expense nor energy in preparing for the Shabbaton. From baking to cooking to cleaning to cleaning again to serving to hosting to making beds and everything in between, the yeshivah looks forward to many more happy times together.
