This past Sunday afternoon children and adults alike bid farewell to the summer and ushered in a new school year with a joyous block party celebration. Yeshiva Sha’arei Zion and Beth Gavriel united forces to present the exciting afternoon of fun. Several bounce houses and the musical energy of DJ Avraham helped brighten the summer day. Fresh popcorn, cotton candy, and even delicious ice cream cones filled the Forest Hills air on 68th Road just off 110th Street. Special guest appearances included Rabbi Avraham Fridman, principal, YSZ; Rabbi Yaniv Meirov, CEO, Chazaq; and Rabbi Tomer Zion, mara d’asra, Beth Gavriel Netz Minyan.
