"The Separation That Brings You Closer" was the title of a special lecture given by Rabbanit Malka Gavrielov this past Monday, January 16 on behalf of the Beth Gavriel Sisterhood. The class was highly anticipated within the Forest HIlls Jewish community and drew eighty religious Queens women who listened intently as the halachot were discussed. The lecture revealed a number of hidden secrets regarding taharat ha'mishpachah, family purity, bringing intimacy and its connection to halacha front and center.
The program and tasty dinner buffet was presented in conjunction with the hosting shul, Beth Gavriel Bukharian Jewish Center, and the in-house ritual bathhouse, Mikvah Well of Mirian and Yaffa.
