YTT held their annual alumni summer reunion this past Wednesday, August 3 at their Forest Hills yeshivah campus. The special gathering brought out many former students spanning all graduating classes who enjoyed coming together and reminiscing with their friends, rebbeim, and staff for an evening of reconnecting and rejoicing. rebbeim.
This year's event was especially memorable as the menahel, Rabbi Moshe Aharonov held a Q & A symposium with some alumni, and enabled them to share personal stories of struggle and growth throughout the years. Baruch Hashem, there are many attributes of a YTT bachur, but the sense of achdut and responsibility for one another are stressed most often by the hanhalah. This includes the mindset of being supportive of one another and staying together on the right path. The YTT rebbeim are true models of this concept as they are constantly availing themselves to learn and meet with their bachurim even years after graduation.
