As one of the more than 120 Chaverim of Queens and Great Neck volunteers, I can attest to the need for improved road safety equipment. From jacks to air pumps, and lockout kits, every detail matters, and often is on hand to save a fellow neighbor’s day, or rescue them in their time of peril. Chaverim is lucky to be in capable hands of coordinators who care about their volunteers and take many efforts to ensure ease of communication and readiness for the hundreds of non-medical emergencies that the volunteers face daily. This past week, Avi Cyperstein, Vice President, and Eliyahu Love, Dispatch Director, took their time to pass out a variety of service tools that included the widely sought after Noco Boost HD chargers. Kudos to the donors! Chaverim of Queens is actively seeking volunteers. Please reach out to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to apply.
