Chavruta, the one-on-one Torah learning program held Monday through Thursday in ten different batei midrashim throughout Queens, welcomed the joy of Purim Katan with festive singing and dancing. Spearheaded by the administrators of Dorot, the program has attracted large groups of Bukharian men of all ages that learn together with Chassidishe counterparts from Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Shown are a glance of the dancing held at Ohr Natan in Rego Park, Rabbi Nissan Shalomayev at his kehillah, the Bukharian Jewish Congregation of Hillcrest, and Rabbi Yosef Akilov with his congregants at Sha'arei Eliyahu in Forest Hills.
