Chanukah is known for its special "spiritual powers" and this year CHAZAQ's JWave Teens division once again tapped into it with a special Mother-daughter event for Jewish public school teens.
"Baruch Hashem hundreds of Jewish public school boys and girls of all ages attend various life-changing programs that CHAZAQ offers and our dedicated staff decided to invite the mothers of the teenage girls to see firsthand why their daughters are so attached to our programs," CHAZAQ operations manager Yaniv Meirov said.
Rebetzin Esther Zino, director of CHAZAQ's Jwave Teens division for girls, worked tirelessly with her fellow staff to organize a fun and educational program.
CHAZAQ Director, Rabbi Ilan Meirov shared words of inspiration on how to reach one’s potential in today’s challenging society, inspiring the mothers and daughters to build a stronger bond with each other and to their beautiful Jewish heritage.
Aside for amazing raffle prizes, the mothers and daughters enjoyed dancing together to upbeat music. There was a delicious dairy buffet with lots of sufganyot (of course!) which everyone enjoyed.
CHAZAQ's professional art teacher, Mrs. Jenny Dan, put together a fun and interactive mother daughter game and they were also given activities to do together.
After all was said and done, the mothers and daughters (and the CHAZAQ Staff!) had a truly memorable evening together. Many mothers expressed their deepest appreciation to the CHAZAQ staff for caring about their daughters as if they were one of their own.
