The 1-4th grade girls at Yeshiva Sha’arei Zion had an unbelievable opportunity to combine their academic and artistic abilities when they participated in a school-wide Derech Eretz Campaign. Each class created a model that depicted a different aspect of giving kavod towards elders. These models included ideas such as standing up when an adult enters the room, not sitting in Abba’s chair and opening the door for elders. The modalities consisted of a variety of materials such as play dough, lego and figurines.
