On the second night of Chanukah, December 3rd, dozens of community organizations such as Shmira, Torah Anytime, Emet, Chazaq, Amudim, and the QJCC joined the Bukharian Chief Rabbinate for a special community wide Chanukah party. The highly esteemed guest rabbanim included the Kalever Rav, son of the Kalever Rebbe; and Harav Noach Issac Oelbaum of Khal Nachlas Yitzchok.
Harav Yitzchak Yisraeli, the Chief Bukharian Rabbi of the USA and Canada joined them in sharing a short Dvar Torah that inspired the audience.
The event began with the lighting of the menorah by Rav Noach Isaac Oelboum. There was a lavish buffet meal with beautiful music, a live performance by singer Tal Vaknin, and a general atmosphere of happiness and joy.
