As Jews world wide prepared for Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot, Chazaq’s staff from their various public school divisions were simultaneously working on guiding scores of parents make a last minute switch from public school to Yeshiva as the start of the new school year officially kicked off.

Chazaq’s dedicated team of men and women worked the phones and had meeting with parents of students that attend CHAZAQ’s various Afterschool programs along with many parents that were referred to CHAZAQ via family and friends.

CHAZAQ’s hard work paid off as dozens of new families made the switch during this short time period and CHAZAQ officially celebrated surpassing the 500 mark since starting their “No Child Left behind” initiative back in August of 2016.

“Transferring one child from public school to Yeshiva can be a tough task” says CHAZAQ director Rabbi Ilan Meirov. “To transfer 500 is truly a miracle. It obviously takes tremendous team work and a whole lot of siyata dishmaya”.

“A lot of dedication and hard work goes into each case but Baruch HaShem we have an extremely dedicated staff that works tirelessly to guide as many people as possible.... it truly is a 24/7 job in that our staff work around the clock including on Shabbat, speaking to people in Shuls, parks or anywhere they may bump into them”.

Any celebrations? “We made a little lechaim celebrating the accomplishment but we have a lot more work to do”.
