The Young Israel of Forest Hills presented a bullying workshop for parents and boys ages 8-12 on Sunday, August 5, 2018. Boys from yeshivas all over Queens and Long Island came to join the workshop.
Galit Meirov LMFT, gave the boys different tools and techniques in order to deal with different situations.
Galit and the boys discussed what it feels like to be bullied, why it happens, and different ways to prevent future situations of getting bullied.
The boys shared tips they’ve used in the past and acted out scenes with each other to practice their new skills.
