On the fast of Tisha B’av (July 21st and 22nd) approximately one thousand people streamed into the Beth Gavriel Center through-out the solemn day for a one-of-a-kind Tisha Bav Marathon. The inspirational event was presented by the prominent CHAZAQ organization and featured 15 lectures by various Rabbis.
The program started on Motzai Shabbat with an inspirational speech by renowned lecturer Charlie Harary and continued the next day from after shacharit till an hour before the end of the fast.
Aside from the impressive schedule of speakers, the CHAZAQ program also offered a free Shatnez checking and phone filtering system to the community. In addition the Kalever Rebbe’s son was on hand to offer advice and blessings to the community.
The event was dedicated by the Nazaroff family in memory of their mother, Esther bat Sara and was viewed by thousands of more people on Torahanytime and Hidabrut.
