Governor Hochul, only you stand between this reckless law and the sanctity of New York’s moral fabric. On behalf of Orthodox, Modern Orthodox, and all Jews across the state—and in solidarity with our secular neighbors who value human dignity above expedience—we beg you: Please, do not let New York become a state that abandons its most vulnerable. Veto this bill. Hear the voices of our Rabbonim, our families, our children, and our elders. Listen to the heartbreak in our community and recognize the irreversible harm that will follow if you let this law take effect. History and Heaven are watching. Uphold the legacy of compassion, conscience, and moral courage.

May Hashem grant you, Governor, the strength and wisdom to defend the sanctity of life and the dignity of every New Yorker. The world is watching. New York’s soul is at stake.

How You Can Take Action:

Suggested Message:

I respectfully urge you to veto the Medical Aid in Dying Act (S.138/A.136). This law threatens the sanctity of life and endangers the most vulnerable New Yorkers. Please choose compassion, invest in real support and care—not assisted suicide.
