The Queens Jewish Community Council conducted its annual High Holiday Food Distribution on Sunday, September 10, at their Forest Hills office led by Executive Director Rabbi Mayer Waxman with food supplied courtesy of Met Council, set to feed 1,000 for the Jewish New Year. Rep. Grace Meng and her liaison Rabbi Daniel Pollack; Assemblymember David Weprin; Judge Karen Lin; Aaron Cyperstein and Ben Zaientz of Met Council; Israel Peskowitz of Chazaq, Pres. Michael Nussbaum, VP Linda Spiegel, Corresponding Secretary Jay Goldberg, Dir. and Past Pres. Warren Hecht, and Directors David Aronov, Barry Grodenchik, and Arlene Ross all lent a hand to packing.
