Dear community members, the wonderful holidays have passed us again, and we stand at the cusp of a new dawn. The Beth Gavriel community has been, for decades, at the forefront of community development. But in this great world, we recognize that as Hashem’s creations, we can only stand back and appreciate Hashem’s work and guidance; to Him is all the praise.  Nonetheless, we continue to do our part, and will always endeavor to guide our great community along the road to success.

We recognize that success is a relative term; every community may strive for something unique. However, there are also prerequisites to achieving any kind of benefit, and it all begins with unity, brotherhood and good leadership. Leadership is a natural outgrowth of responsibility, and it is not limited to a single area. Today, we are happy to see that we have leaders in charity work, in communal work, in religious work and so many other essential fields. More than ever, we have the capacity to bring our brothers and sisters to the next step, if we work together, and if we remember that leadership is about responsibility.

Beth Gavriel has taken the effort and time to produce a peerless and stunning Men and Women’s Mikvah. We are in the process of finalizing a much-needed dish Mikvah. We are also working on expanding space in the heart of our community to accommodate the needs of a young and growing population. At the same time, we have given every support to the multiple organizations bettering our community with their cultural, religious, and political work. The work may seem never ending, but that is because the growth has limitless potential. We wish to share this with all of the community centers and leaders; don’t give up, and never forget that your effort is contributing to a strong foundation.

In all of this, the Torah must be front and center. History has taught us that our loyalty to Hashem’s Torah is where our strength and success comes from. When our children and their future generations look to us, they will ask us about this and will surely marvel how we kept Hashem’s Torah alive in our hearts and in the world around us. May we only share in good news and further success.

 Sincerely,

Mr. Ilya Koptiev –
President of Beth Gavriel

Mr. Simcha Elishaev –
Vice-President of Beth Gavriel
