Beth Gavriel’s flourishing Netz Minyan held its second Mega Siyum this past Sunday evening, December 3, in the shul’s main ballroom. Stunning drapery gave the space the royal atmosphere appropriate for such an affair that included surprise remarks from Rav David Yosef, shlit”a, chief rabbi of Har Nof. The lavish dinner saw 18 men complete Masechet Sotah, with at least one making his first siyum ever!
The event, enhanced by the talented design of Liora Sebag and beats of DJ Avraham, was an ode to Rabbi Tomer Zino, rav of the Netz Minyan and magid shiur of the early morning class. The evening was yet another testament to achdut of Beth Gavriel’s wide array of mispallelim.
The evening’s highlights included passionate words from the mesaymim after each was handed an engraved recognition. The Netz Minyan Gemorah Class has just begun Masechet Sukkah on a Monday through Friday schedule learning from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. All are encouraged to join!
