Mothers and daughters affiliated with Chazaq's JWave Girls Division united on a recent Wednesday evening at Beth Gavriel for a unique challah bake experience. The event created an even deeper bond between moms and their daughters bringing lasting inspiration.

The interactive session allowed families to come together, learn, and share the age-old tradition of baking challah, a symbolic and cherished aspect of Jewish culture. As mothers and daughters joined hands in the kneading and shaping process, the event fostered a sense of togetherness, warmth, and joy.

Rebbetzin Esther Zino delivered touching words providing much needed chizuk during these trying times for the Jewish nation. Highlights included a JWave teen making the brachah of mafrish challah for the attendees. Her smile was a testament to the event's goal of fostering Jewish values. Additionally, mothers and daughters partook in an extended heartfelt moment of prayer enjoyed under the guise of candles once the lights had been turned off.

Programs like this initiative have become a beacon of hope for families seeking to strengthen their connection to Jewish traditions and values in the face of modern challenges.

Chazaq's JWave program caters to public school teenagers, addressing their unique needs and interests via daily learning programs and activities. This innovative initiative offers a platform for teens to connect with their Jewish identity, while simultaneously embracing contemporary interests and challenges. Chazaq recently launched their  new Youth Center in Forest Hills, as a place to give these teens a home away from home.

Chazaq remains dedicated to its mission of empowering Jewish families, youth, and individuals to lead lives enriched with Jewish values, knowledge, and a strong sense of identity.
