With the end of the year upon us, Yeshiva Sha’arei Zion Girls’ High School is preparing for the final stretch of the school year. Students prepare for finals and Regents with intense study sessions and crash days. The teachers at YSZ have designed exciting “brain breaks” to break up the schedule and give students a way to relax and destress. Brain Breaks are fun activities designed to decompress in a busy week. Students will have a pool party at the home of menahelet Mrs. Rina Zerykier’s home, make tie dye shirts, do some meditative yoga, and send their hopes away with balloons. The school set the theme for this “final stretch” of school to “Capturing Memories.” Students have so much to remember from their classes, and so many wonderful memories from the year! It has been a wonderful year and it is hard to believe it is almost coming to a close. These activities remind us all how the best memories of our lives can never be captured in pictures, but they are always captured by the heart.
