This past Wednesday, May 25, U.S. ORT STEM Program held its annual STEM competition for participating high schools in the New York area at the Beth Gavriel Community Center in Forest Hills. The event gave students the opportunity to showcase their work for the STEM course over the past year. “We toiled all year on making these projects and are delighted to be able to present them to the public,” commented one YTT student. “Baruch Hashem, Yeshiva Tiferet Tzion’s hard work paid off,” said Rabbi Shay Winer on behalf of the yeshivah. “The tenth grade earned the first-place prize in the competition.” Such an accomplishment is due to the devotion of the talented staff at the yeshivah that strives daily to provide students with a path to success. The yeshivah would like to thank all the participating schools. It was a true kiddush Hashem to see how the students complemented each other’s work. Schools include Ezra Academy, Mesivta Tiferet Torah, Mesivta Sha’arei Pruzdor, and Yeshiva Sha’arei Zion. Much appreciation is due to the wonderful U.S. ORT STEM Program staff for giving the yeshiva students the opportunity to have such a great program.
