On Sunday December 15th community Rabbis were joined by Presidents of local Bukharian Centers to discuss the ongoing issues with burials taking place at a prominent cemetery servicing the Bukharian community. The event was organized by ABCN and hosted by the Beth Gabriel Community Center in Forest Hills. Opening remarks were made by Rabbi Emnanuel Shimonov and a detailed description of the issues were presented by Mr. Uri Danielov.
Everyone in attendance agreed that the desecration at the cemeteries must come to an end and they are working as a united front to take care of the situation.
