Yeshiva Tiferet Tzion Hosts Its Annual Father & Son - Lunch & Learn!

What a sight to behold! YTT recently held its first of two Father & Son Events for the 2019/2020 school year.

At 8:30 am the staff and student body, along with the fathers assembled for Shacharit together followed by some coffee & cake. The fathers showed up proud of their sons and eager to learn with them.

After refreshments, Rabbi Moshe Lehmann Shlit”a – the 9th Grade Rebbe - proceeded with an introduction to the learning portion and then the Bet Medrash bloomed into an oasis of Torah learning.

It was truly great to see how the bochurim of YTT were learning Gemara and commentaries with their fathers and how the fathers were engaged in the learning and inspired by their sons’ commitment to true Torah learning.

A lavish buffet brunch was served followed by a grand Siyum Mesechet where over 5 Mesechtot were completed by various bochurim in the 11th grade. After Kaddish at the Siyum, the Rebbeim, fathers and students broke out into spirited dancing.

During the meal, the assembled were treated to words of Chizuk from Harav Rafael Zavulunov Shlit”a. Rabbi Zavulunov impressed upon the crowd to appreciate and capitalize on the opportunity afforded to them by the yeshiva and shared with us some of his own life experiences. We appreciate his participation and Chizuk!
