A Message From The Alliance Of Bukharian Americans

We need you. You need yourself. You need us. We need each other. We are all tied together by the location we live in, the culture we have, the goals we share, and the needs nobody should lack. There are many we ways to grow a social unit, perhaps none as much as influencing the statesmen and stateswomen who represent us in all levels of government.

We need to vote. If we participate and speak up then our voice cannot be ignored; if we take a backseat and whisper from the shadows we can expect nothing. The American Jewish-Bukharian community is around 45 years old. In that time, individuals and families in our community grew quicker than most. We did in half the time what many immigrant communities did in a century. Many people have sacrificed so much to bring us were we are today, and we owe it to them and ourselves to move forward.

The pipeline of everything social and communal flows from the City, the State, and the Federal Government. Because of our numbers, they are paying attention to our every move, and they are waiting for us to wake up. We have great Power, but we need to wield it. The first step is registering to vote.
