Hashem says that there is a reason why you are in a specific situation going through an ordeal. There is a good reason why you are experiencing a particular test. There is a reason why you have a challenge that someone else does not.

There is a reason why you met a specific person, or have a certain coworker. Whoever you meet in life, there is a reason why you met them specifically.

Wherever you live, there is a reason why you live on that block and have your neighbors. Whatever happens is calculated. Do not ever think that it is a coincidence why a certain person sits next to you, or why you work in a certain industry.

Everything you do is determined by Hashem. If He puts you in a certain career, the reason you are there is to create a kiddush Hashem in that field/position. You were put there to follow Hashem’s word and to have emunah that Hashem is in charge of everything. Hashem is running the world and everything is in His plan. He has a reason for everything He does.

The Torah mentions all 42 places where klal Yisrael camped in the Midbar to teach all future generations that everywhere we stop is calculated by Hashem. Every single one of us has a mission and Hashem puts you in a specific place in order to fulfill its goals.

One should never think that Hashem ever just throws you in a situation on a random day and abandons you without tasks to accomplish for that day. Every day is another mission with a unique plan and schedule of what we are meant to complete.

What is your plan for today?

Are you going to do a specific mitzvah today? Are you going to talk to Hashem today? Are you going to work on your davening with more kavanah? Are you going to put extra effort into learning Torah? Are you going to give someone a compliment so they feel happy? Are you going to argue less? Are you going to speak less lashon ha’ra?

Every day is full of potential accomplishments!

A person must never forget that they are in a specific place because Hashem wants them to fulfill their mission in that area, at that exact moment, and on that particular date.
