Chairman of the Alliance of Bukharian Americans

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of speaking at local political club. The bottom line was, if we, as a community, don’t vote, than we lose the right to complain. It’s really that plain and simple. You look around at the community you can form an opinion of what can solve its issues. But if you don’t vote and exercise that power, what difference will it make? Bukharian Jews represent a powerful voting block which as of yet needs to be properly utilized.

We need each other. We need to vote. If we participate and speak up then our voice cannot be ignored; if we take a backseat and whisper from the shadows we can expect nothing. If we don’t vote, we don’t get a seat at the table and we end up on the menu. Everyone else benefits at our expense, and we can no longer afford to have that. The pipeline of much social and communal funding comes from the City, the State, and the Federal Government. Because of our numbers, they are paying attention to our every move, and they are waiting for us to wake up. We have great Power, but we need to wield it. The first step is registering to vote. We at the Alliance of Bukharian Americans have made the first step easy. You can now register to vote online at ABA.TURBOVOTE.ORG

Based on your preference, you will receive updates and election information via email and/ or text. If you are already registered to vote, you can still use the link to change party affiliation or register for text/ email updates.

The Alliance of Bukharian American’s mission is to unify the Bukharian American Community while providing the highest level of representation for our constituents with Local, State and Federal elected officials, and ensuring that the welfare and security of the State of Israel is not compromised. Please join the Movement and together, we will achieve.
